Gestaltung vom Titelblatt und Kalendarium für Tiefdruck-Kalender der Grafikdruckwerkstatt mit 12 original Radierungen von Künstler*innen der Offenen Werkstatt.

Das Kalendarium sollte sanft in Hintergrund rücken um den zarten Bildern den visuellen Vorrang zu überlassen. Ein Wechselspiel vom Druck und Blindprägung verbindet die Gestaltung von Innenseiten und dem Titelblatt.

Innenseiten: Jede Monatszahl stammt aus einer anderen Schrift und wurde zusammen mit den Linien als Blindprägung gedruckt. Das Kalendarium in der Bodoni Schrift (Schriftgröße 10 pt) bildet ein feines Gleichgewicht zu dem Bild auf dem Blatt.

Titelblatt: Die schwarz gedruckte Linien bilden das Titel des diesjährigen Kalender »kein Thema«. Der Text dadrunter wurde mit Bodoni Schrift in der Größe 36 pt mit Handsatz-Lettern ohne Farbe geprägt.

The calendar on the inside pages supposed to move gently into the background to let the delicate images take visual precedence. An interplay of printing and blind embossing connects the design of the inside pages and the title page.

Inside pages: Each month number comes from different font and was printed together with the lines as blind embossing. The calendar numbers in Bodoni font (font size 10 pt ) creates a fine balance to the image on the sheet.

Title page: The lines are printed with black color and form the title of this year’s calendar »no theme«. The text below was embossed with Bodoni font in the size 36 pt with hand typesetting letters without color.
